A couple of things,
I would think any Honda dealer can look up the car TSB history if you give them the VIN number visable inside the windshield. It is kept on their national computer database.
Also, the price is way out of line today....shop arround.

I should have clarified that. At wholesale auctions 2004 are going for between 24,000 and 25,000. As far as TSB I think many on this board don't understand what a TSB is. It is a standard procedure to fix a problem that a manufacter is seeing often. They are designed to help the dealer trouble shoot cars. There is no requirement that they be done. They are not recalls. Honda has at times used the TSB incorrectly instead of a recall with the spark plugs being a prime example. They did at least notify all owners of that one. A regular TSB is there to help the dealer trouble shoot and complete the repair in a minimum amount of time and cost.

i would personally speak with the guys at the dealership, see if they are a major dealership for that area. and if so, if they have a honda dealer in the area. if so tell them taht you want all maintenance and service done at their location, since it is a honda. i'm sure they will be able to work something out.

Yeah, that price seems high to me as well. I bought my 01 in June for $24k with only 6k miles and a HT.

IT MAY SEEM HIGH TO YOU GUYS BUT THATS PRETTY MUCH THE NORM AROUND HERE. keep in mind, market value depends on the market place. In other words, depends on where the car is sold. I bought mine below book value in October with 19,000 miles on her And here in the Northeast at the time of purchase, the book value for the car was 23,700 This is with that milage and in October. Im sure now that figure has dropped substantially since its winter now

Their asking price is rediculously high!
19k-21k is reasonable range.

Good luck
