I don't see why they couldn't brace it somehow around where the softtop goes, but whatever. Perhaps the removal of the top and motors was to account for the extra weight of the bracing.

I'd be all for some engineering marvels but so far this just looks like egg cartons glued onto a box of YoGos.

VGS has made its way over Stateside! ... ... in the form of the new Accord w/ the variable steering ratio. Call me old-fashioned (or sour grapes for that matter), but VGS isn't my cup of tea. I like my racks (!) straightfoward--call 'em like ya see 'em!
