Thanks for the replies--I didnt mean to scare anyone into thinking this was gonna be a typeR post. I've already read a million of them, I just didnt know if the TypeV was real or not. I guess if most people didnt like it, then I guess thats why its not over here.

I'd like to drive one (can't, I guess) to see how the VGS performs, but I gotta say... The standard EPS system on the S2000 is actually my favorite part of the car. The S2000's steering is the most responsive I've ever driven. I certainly wouldn't muck with that kind of perfection.

I've driven a Type V at a small autocross course at a packing lot of the Twin Ring Motegi facility in Japan. Unfortunately it was raining and I had to quickly adjust to RHD, so I didn't get a proper test of it. However, I enjoy my little drive. I think I'd enjoy having the system availabl here in the States.

Sorry, you're out of luck. That wheel uses a different attachment than the regular S2000s have. I don't know of anybody who has successfully made an adapter...

Some guy had one on ebay a few months ago.
Although I've heard it won't fit on a USDM S2000.

That would suck to import one just to find out
it wouldn't work.

You could just get the badge for the trunk like this one:

You'll see it doesn't actually have VGS:

What is the point of the lamborghini doors? I mean if the S wasnt a convertible, then It'd be cool, but there is no point to have doors that open like that.
