S2000 Ultimate Edition
I am sorry but this is as bad as GM slapping a sticker on the side of a Cavalier and calling it a GT. Special paint and wheels that already are on the CR hardly make this "Ultimate". The nod to the Type-R color scheme is nice but how is it that many people on this board have found a way to get a little more power and reduce weight on the S but Honda can not for a special edition?

Probably because Honda Europe figured it could still sell the F20C engine and not have to certify the F22 for sale, thus avoiding cost. Or, Honda wanted to stay in the sub two-liter engine tax categories. Also, Europeans are used to smaller engines, so it didn't mater as much. Also, Europe is a low-volume market for the S2000 and cost recovery is not guaranteed if it did go through the cost of introducing a new engine.
