Yes, it is in the front bumper. An airbag deployment probaby would not have served any purpose in this type of accident (unless it was a side impact airbag, which we don't have) and may have caused more injury.

Glad you're relatively okay; that's painful to look at. I can relate.

p.s. does the engine still run, after recent events I may need a new engine.

Was that your old car, Evo?? I don't recall anyone using your misfortune against you here?? Barry was joking that the pole hit you (I think...).

But, anyway, so what happened in your accident. Were you hurt?

That's how I read it, the pole got cited, not you.

Maybe I took it the wrong way, but I'm a little sensitive on that subject. The accident was pretty bad. The car was a total loss. It only had 300 miles on it. I had a huge nail in the rear right tire. But I decided not to patch it up, (since the next day, my 18" wheels and tires arrived). So I went on a drive, and at high speed. The tire let go and the car spun a few times. I met the pole. It was pretty crazy, with the top down and spining at high speed. I'm just glad no one else got hurt and it taught me a lot of lessons in life. And I still can't believe it when I look at that pix. That I just walked right out of it. If the power line snapped, it would of been a lot worse.
