S2000 vs. Viper GTS-R
Just to throw some gas on the fire, I don't believe speeding is a menace to society; it's people who don't watch where they are going. In the last month I had two people pull out in front of me, one making a left turn and one in a cross street. Both times it was my quick reaction time that averted a crash. Last year a person made a left turn about 30 feet in front of me when I was traveling 35 MPH, the posted speed limit. Needless to say I couldn't stop in time and totaled the rental car. She had the nerve to say I was speeding. Hey! If you thought I was speeding why did you make the turn? Luckily there were a couple witnesses who backed me up (I always tell the truth).
If you read Car and Driver magazine, you probably have read Patrick Bedard's column. He argues speeding is not responsible for most crashes, but the insurance companies and governments unfairly blame speeding because it's a source of revenue for both and it is a politically correct stance.

And the C5 Corvette, which I found to be a fantastic car, can be called just a Chevy.
cthree,
I was just thinking about you running in ASP for a minute and I realized that it's not the correct class for the S2000. You should be in CSP, not ASP. The as of now, the S2000 is not specifically classed in SP, and as such it placed via one of the SP class "catch-alls"... in this case the catch all for CSP is "all sports cars under 2.0 liters not otherwise classified". The catch all for ASP is "all sports cars over 2.0 liters N.O.C.". Well the S2000 is technically 1.973 (if memory serves) liters... which puts it in CSP.
That should make your life a little easier... though not by much.
