s2000 weight distribution?
Actual numbers from a calibrated 4-point scale at Roebling Road Speedway:
No driver, 1/2 tank of gas, distribution is very close, 49.9/50.1:
Left Front - 692 .... Right Front - 692
Left Rear - 690 .... Right Rear - 697
Total weight 2771 lbs. (38 lbs less than the literature states but if you added 6 gallons of fuel you would be very close to 2809) So the 2809 lb figure must be with a full tank of gas. Also notice how good the balance is left to right, also very close to 50/50.
Adding a driver changes things a bit:
Left Front - 747 .... Right Front - 707
Left Rear - 788 .... Right Rear - 734
Weight is biased to the driver side and to the rear but still not bad at all.
I figure 1/2 tank of gas is a good average, not full, not empty.
