Hmmm.... Thanks! The N-0 rear is 11 kgf/mm vs 5.2 stock, so I guess I have room with which to work. (11 kgf/mm is about 615 lb/in converted)

From a previous measurement I made: Heights from bottom of 16" rims to fender edge: LR: 21 15/16 RR: 21 13/16
LF and RF (rolled fenders, probably not rolled equally) both 21 13/16.

I think weight might be in the lower 2500s. It's been awhile since I measured it, and it is lighter now than then, so it is a rough estimate.

Well I thought I'd resurrect and old thread.

For those of you who may not know Krazik and I have are entered in the OTC (OpenTrackChallenge.com) and for the last couple of months our cars have been on a severe weight loss regimen. I just received the corner weight scales that Ry and I bought and I thought you might be interested in the results. These are preliminary results as the pads have not been leveled yet, though the surface they are on is very flat it shouldn't be far off.

The weight as of today with the car race prepped on stock rims and PSC's is 2470 lbs.

There is still about 50 or so lbs for me to remove from the car so I estimate it to get down to 2420 or so lbs.
I expect Ry's car to be even lighter than that as he doesn't have a SC, oil cooler, accusump or 4 point roll bar installed. Probably in the neighborhood of 2370 or so lbs.

Dave,

Good to hear from you!! Is there a thread somewhere documenting what you've done to eliminate so much weight? I would love to read it!

This thread documents most of the weight saving mods i've implemented. I'll do a write up on it in the near future.
