So i find a S200, my fav colors but it is a 2000 model kinda lder, Anyways I either want black with black interior red seats or all black on black or white with red seats trim and other blck interior not red dash

Anyways it is a 2000 model low 70k miles anyways the finance manager is a friend, so I know i can get it for 12 to 12.5 they have offered a honda warranty to up to 120 K miles for like 1K from honda no BS warranty checking to see if they can certify b.c of it being an 00
Anyways car is immaculate 1 owner some lady was a rep and drove the car, got docs to prove it clean car fax, worst thing on car is a small touched up place on it , way smaller than a dime,

is this a fair deal?

I totaled my H2 and I was in good for it I will get a good check back so I was thinking about buyinf this S2K, and paying off a CC and pocking 5k, for a move I want to do to atlanta, then I will habve my 96-00 style civic hatch for a daily, so it will not get driven much, I an new so dont know if I should go AP1 or AP2 engine, anyways ok please advise, really dont want to buy an 8 yr old car as a new car but no debt sounds nice also,

the main reason im interestd is getting out of debt and the pocket cash but I could easily buy a car say 40k easily and maintain but then still CC then not lots of extra $ for the move

I'd say that's a decent price. use edmunds.com' used car matrix for a good estimate. It provides a very accurate price range from my experiences. GL in your search.

 

I am worried about reliability etc on the car, it being hi mileage that I mean its already timing belt time and stuff like that but im wanting to move to ATL and could use the cash i would have leftover to pay off cc and start savings for the move,
Anyways Should i look for a 01 02 or something similiar for close to the same price?
The big thing to mean is color scheme i want white black int red seats and i know u can swap seats but anyways u dont se many then here i drive by and see it
with mileage kbb has it at 14.5 retail and on priv parts it goes like 11.750 - 10k to 9k for poor condition on private party
so price isnt too bad
but was thinking about getting this or a RSX, I can splurge for a new one if wanted but would like to be debt free besides the loft includiong car, so that is alot of my decision

how bout some more pointers

? here i was thinking say i drive it to 150K could i sell it to someone for a SCCA racer " club racer " build car possibly. I mean i would have thought this thing would hold around 7.5-9 even with alot of miles

As usual the answer is: test drive, test drive, test drive.

Don't fixate on just the color scheme or resale value. If you're looking for an investment then a car is a poor choice. 70K isn't anything for a Honda S2000 assuming that the car wasn't abused.
