Default Trying to remove steering wheel/gauge cluster

I know there are 3 screws under the steering wheel - but I cannot get even one of them loose. Any ideas?

I tried really really hard but it seems like the cross in the head of the screw might have stripped a bit from me trying as well. I've never seen a phillips head screw so tight before.
