S2000 WINS T-2 AT Lime Rock Park!!!!
The Number 90, King Motorsport prepared S2000 won the 30 lap National Race at Lime Rock Park on Saturday.
He beat his closest competitor, a Camaro, by more than 16 seconds and his third competitor (a Porsche Boxter S) by more than 34 seconds {over a second a lap faster}. I guess that will answer some questions that some of you may have had.
He also may have set a race record for T-2 with a race lap at 1:02.8
(By the way, T-2 is a class where the car is standard off the showroom floor with no modifications other than running DOT shaved tires --- 3/32nds tread).

Awesome!
I said it before in the Racing forum but I really think that we are learning how to drive the S2000 a lot faster than before. Expect to see some incredible results in the months and years ahead. Torque shmoque.

Very nice!!! Thank you for the news!
PS: Since this is "stock", I wonder what King Motorsports can do to prepare the car to make a stock as competitive as possible? I would think alignment would be big.

I live about an hour from king motorsports. They have a project S2000 they bored out to 2.2 liter and have some other mods. From what I understand, they aren't done with it yet. Hopefully they'll be able to do more with it, and bring out some more S2000 power!
