These are probably just as bad as birds!

I have my S in my unfinished garage (meaning it's just a carport right now, I haven't finished the walls or gotten the garage door on yet) and the damn cat loved to jump up on the car with muddy paws and scratch the paint, leave hair and mud on the top! I fixed him with a chicken wire fence that I have to open up everytime I park or leave the carport....I really need to get the rest of the stuff for the walls and get them up before winter!

yes bird poo sucks. funny story from a few yrs ago when i used to valet in college. i was working at Short Hills Mall, which is one of the richest and most expensive in the country. (according to revenue per sq ft)
anyway, most of the cars are luxary cars and most get parked outside in one of our lots. well the back row is under trees and the birds must have been waiting for some luxary cars to poo on that day. about 20 cars were covered, and i mean covered in bird crap. im just happy i only had to bring back one of those cars to the customers and she didnt say anything to me. others were pissed and got their money back. haha like we can control nature. stupid birds.

Guys, you probably already know this, but bird crap can be pretty acidic. Don't let it sit on your paint any longer than you have to. The paint on my wife's Volvo is etched because she ignored some pidgeon bombs for too long.

To hell with pigeons, you guys have no idea what pain is. Try living in Florida during lovebug season. That crap will take the paint off before you can say "sonofabitchbugs!"
It's season right now (1 of 2), and it is absolutely impossible to drive more than 20 feet without getting the little sh!ts splattered over every foreward facing surface of your car. I'm going through a bottle of rainx a week, and a full resevior of washer fluid a day, just so I can see where the F I'm going.

Birds are sh!t. Lovebugs are the S2000's worst nightmare. I challenge any of you to come down here right now, drive around for 10 minutes in this insanity, and not bitch.
...cleaning the little buggers off is a grueling task as well, don't even get me started there....

I feel your pain. With all of my commuting, I find I have to wash the damned car three times a week to get rid of the dead little bastards.
I've found two polishes for the paint that stand up to squashed lovebugs (Plecia nearctica) - Liquid Glass and Zaino Z2. You can buy Liquid Glass at Autozone for about $20/Qt. It stands up to the lovebugs very well and makes washing them off easier too. I use it on the paint, windshield, and headlights. And I can knock off most of the dead bugs with the hose with no scrubbing.
