Really! Is it that much faster? Its not boosted, like i said it only has intake and exhaust. Wow by your reaction I guess they are Really fast. Anyone else have any opinions or real life experiences on this?

'02 WRX w/ intake and turbo-back exhaust and good driver could run anywhere from 13.5 to 13.9 second.
With 60ft around 1.8 to 2.0 second.

Their a little tough from 1st to 3rd gear. After 4th, you'll start to pull.

No, it's not faster stock. An exhaust and intake will do a little on a WRX, but the real key to unlocking big horsepower is a full turbo back exhaust, a catless uppipe, and some engine management tuning. Then it will be very fast on the straights, not so fast on the corners, and not great in the braking area. And then the clutch will fry.

Was seriously considering a WRX, but decided that waiting for an STi or EVO was ultimately the better way to go.

Unless the WRX has a boost controller you will have no problem beating him. Adding an intake, exhaust whatever (besides NOS) will do nothing to the WRX without a boost controller. I own both types of cars and never beat the s2000 until I purchased a Unichip and manual boost controller, then the S2000 lost

If were talking about a stock WRX.. shouldnt be any faster. I raced another friend who had a WRX several times and edged him out every time at every gear up to about 80 mph.. If its stock and your not afraid to really drive then youll win..

just my experience..

btw. He got rid of the car and said that its just an engine, where the s2k is a real sports car..

BTW.. I only said up to 80 mph because thats the speed we raced to.. I was still pulling on him till we stopped racing.. also this was a straight line street race. If we threw some turns into the mix, the outcome would have been even better for my car..
