Option 1: Check out a few different year S2000s for yourself and make a decision.
Option 2: Do a search on this topic and see the same conversation a million times over.
Option 3: Follow this thread and read how everyone owns the best year S2000 and you should get that one too.

I'd say get the AP1 year that had those GPW's with the blue interior.

Ohh I was about to say GPW didn't come with blue interior, only Suzukas.
Check it out... (I believe the top came originally in black)...

You're buying a used car. Get the latest model year, with least amount of miles, in the best condition... Too many parameters to optimize without seeing the actual car...

Ohh I think that dude swapped his. I remember a thread with that same GPW when he did the conversion. I honestly don't think any other colors except for Suzuka came with the blue, but i'm not 100% sure on that.

Buy an '02 or '03 so that it's an AP1 with a glass rear window. Don't buy a hardtop. Buy snow tires.

One of the Canadian guys could verify I'm sure but I did a quick search.. definitely sounds like they were sold in that color combo in 2003. I know, it's crazy... I can't tell you how many times I thought I had learned all the cosmetic & major differences in this car from year to year, only to find something new to really surprise me.

Sorry, OP, I don't mean to thread jack. It does make a good case for a 2003 though if you want a really rare S2000 and the final year of AP1.

They were (can't confirm the year). They looked like Toronto Maple Leafs colours, so nobody bought them.
