is S2000 your daily driving car?
I went from a "practical" car (1996 VW GTI-VR6) and a "fun" car (1978 Fiat 124 Spider) to just an S2000. No regrets so far, after about 2 months. It's nice having a convertible that starts reliably!
When I have to get practical once in a while, I figure that I can either borrow a car or rent one. For my daily driving needs, the S2000 is great, and it gets better mileage than either of the cars that I drove before. As long as I don't shift at 9k RPMs while commuting!
(edit: wow - 3rd reply in the same minute!)

I mean come on, driving the most fun car in the world, IMO, everyday.. how can it get any better?
oh yea on side note I saw a yellow elise today driving down euclid street in westminster .. looked really sweet.. and that was prolly his daily driver too, saw him with a huge ass
so I'm sure he's loving it.

My s2k was supposed to be my "weekend" car and my old Civic my daily driver. That lasted about two days. For the next two months, until I gave the Civic to my sister, I only drove the Civic every week or so (I felt guilty just leaving it parked all the time). However, I'm a bachelor, and live a bachelor lifestyle, so your experience may differ. I'd say the 59,000 miles I've put on this car in two and a half years show that this car can be a great daily driver!
I just love the fact I can drive a car like ours every day.
The trunk is big enough to fit a week's worth of food for one person, and hold most things you'll buy day-to-day. When I buy a new pair of tires, I'll usually put one in the trunk, and one in the passenger seat.
Make sure you have friends with bigger cars in case you need to haul something, however!

Well, it all depends on your lifestyle. You have any kids? You have any friends that you tote around? I love having 2 seaters. This is my 3rd one and the rest are just 4 seaters that unless your a kid or a contortionist (sp), you cant fit in the back anyways
I have never had any problem with room or ride. If you dont fit, then you dont belong in my car

Mine is a daily driver as well. I've had it for about a year now and the newness/fun/smile on my face, is still their. I'll think of reasons/excuses to go out and drive my car.
Trunk space was never a concern of mine when I was looking at this car. Being fast, exclusive, just about everything you'd want in a sports car, was.
I feel like Ayrton Senna every morning, driving to work. No regrets, NONE!
