I liked it personally and it was a very exciting and good read; however, it is always disappointing to most when they get their hopes up over something they are passionate about and then have their parade pissed on.

It's a pity that so many drivers don't give a damned about fuel economy and emissions. Their children and grandchildren -- suffering from the yet-to-come social, economic, political and health consequences of this stupidity -- will rue the day their ancestors were so selfish, narrowminded, and shortsighted.

I love the S2000 precisely because it is engineered for both high performance and fuel efficiency/low emissions. Every auto manufacturer should follow Honda's example. We'd actually have a better world if they did.
Are you serious about this? Do you actually think that our world/USA has an environmental problem?

Sounds like you have been buying into all the B/S the liberal democrats have been feeding you over the years. If you take the time to research this issue to its fullest you will find that the whole "greenhouse effect/global warming" theory is a complete farce. This is a scam propagated by foundations such as Greenpeace which is funded by the United Nations and their goal for a World Government. The Grand Canyon in Arizona, Los Reyes National Park in California, Yellowstone in Wyoming, are all now claimed by the United Nations as "International Biospheres." They use these organizations as a front to pretend like they are protecting us from further environmental(also read as human) degradation. Clinton signed these areas and others over to them during his second term as President. Research and you will see. They are locking down our most prized geological areas so that in the future, they can subdivide them up between the participating countries in the U.N. and use our resources to keep other countries, other than are own, flourishing.

Believe me, I love Honda for a reason. The three cars I have owned since high school have all been Honda's. Their reliability and low emissions is something I have great respect for and I will continue to support them and their products. This issue, however, runs far deeper than a simple environmental emissions problem and many people need to wake up and smell the smog. For lack of a better pun.

good job on that report but the biggest mistake was at the name of the car....honda uses type in their names, so it wouldn't be s2000r, it would be S 2000 TYPE R.

I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. I get better gas mileage in my Tahoe than I get in my S. I can't remember the last time I got over 170 miles out of a tank of gas. This has got to be the most gas guzzling 2 liter engine out there!
