S2000's Becoming Common
Today was the first day it's happened! An "S" spotting - not one but two. Within an hour in the same town - MY TOWN! I was so disappointed. I guess it was inevitable. It's not real expensive, it's a Honda, it handles well, and it flies. I'm beginning to wonder if Honda is telling the truth - "Only 6,000 to the States a year." Will we like our cars as much when we are passing each other everyday?

You folks should move to Canada...
I've had my S2K for 3 weeks now, and the first one I've seen aside from my own was with another board member who setup a time to meet.
I was actually at a large local event this weekend, and surprisingly my car attracted nearly as much attention as the Lambo and Ferrari I was parked next to. I was shocked.

Based on our orders, I'd say Texas and California have the highest concentrations. If you want exlusivity, come East, away from perpetually warm climates.
I made an 850 mile drive to North Carolina and back for vacation last week, and did not see a single one the whole time. But BMWs, Porsches, etc. were common.

Down here in the LA area, you can see one almost everyday. I used to work at the Sony studios in Culver City. I was the only S2K in the whole parking lot. The last time I went up there, I saw a yellow one in the lot too.
6,000/year, I thought originally they were only going to sell 5,000/year!!!!

I see one everyday on my drive to work, it is a Spa Yellow parked in a covered driveway on National Blvd. just after the road curves on the way towards Overland. Anyone here???
I live right around the corner.

Yeah I can vouch for NC anyway. I think Salisbury has three (counting mine) and I hardly ever see the other two. I drive to Winston Salem to work everyday and I hardly ever see one. Maybe one every other month. I'm not sure where they are going. I know Flow Honda in WS is selling their share, so is the Salisbury dealership. People must be buying them here and taking them elsewhere.

On my way out Saturday night, I saw 3 within 10 minutes, and I saw 2 (different ones) yesterday! Granted, Austin has a pretty high concentration of leisure cars because of the tech boom here, but it made me kind of sad to see so many and know that I'm not as unique as I used to be.
