I've only seen one other S2000 in the 5 months that I've owned mine here in Greensburg which is 1 hour east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Here in NY a stook is a somewhat rare site. The weather sucks four- five months out of the year. It is strictly a weekend toy to most. But I drive mine everyday.

my friends in Austin,TX tell me they are fairly common, and so did a friend from San Jose.

here in the NW, I've noticed a lot more since I sold mine. Same story with the Vette. It used to be very rare to see a C5 up here, and after selling mine you started seeing them everywhere.

I see a black, red, and yellow one everyday on the way to and from school. I know they are the same ones, but its still kinda wierd

Yep here in the LA area - the stook is becoming a VERY common site. I really liked the exlusivity thing at first but I have grown to realize that it is the CAR that I love and not necessarily the exclusivity.

What I hate though is snobbish stook owners who refuse to acknowledge you when you drive past them

There's a couple dozen of us in the Dallas area; I usually spot another S2k every other day or so.

Then again, that's about how often I spot Ferraris and NSXs as well, so I guess that's not too bad.

There are a number of them in Charlotte, NC. I usually see one or two a day but I am looking for them. I can tell you that I still get more people staring at the car then sightings of other stooks. I can deal with that.

I bought my stook b/c it's a totally badass car, not b/c of it's exclusivity. Although it's nice not to see too many of them, I hope we don't become lumped in w/ the Porsche, BMW, etc. crowds as being a snotty bunch of owners. Also, look at the bright side - more stooks means a healthier aftermarket and (hopefully) lower parts prices down the road. I'll always be stoked about my stook no matter how many are on the road!

I live in a small city of only 120,000 people, and 20,000 of those are college students. There are 4 S2Ks here that I have seen so far. Mine, a Silver/Red driven by a hot blonde, a yellow one, and a black one.

But when you compare it to the number of Z3's and Boxsters, it's not even close. Well, at least I'm the only silver/black that I've seen so far (go figure )
