We had a lot of rain in San Diego back in December- the majority of the time I left my baby at home to avoid the crappy roads that only got worse with rain.

I may live in San Diego, but as a native Carolinian, I'll chime in with the NC/ SC folks about that being a good place to have an S- the roads in the Carolinas are far superior to the moonscape that is driving in Southern California, less drivers per mile of road, and other drivers are generally more polite and courteous- outside of Charlotte and the Triangle, anyway. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to getting back over to the other coast.
