S2000's live on
Yesterday I was driving through Raleigh and was going through 5 o'clock traffic. Well I was sitting at a stoplight beside a minivan. I glanced over and a kid in the passenger seat (prob around 10-13 yr's old) was starring at my car. (I had the top up because I just went through a storm). The van's windows were up also because it was hot (A/C assuming). He kept starring at my car and looking down and starring again. Finally I caught him reading something, it was a Honda Vehicle packet (pickup at the dealers). Guess where it was turned to, that's right, HONDA S2000. haha. So next time he looked at the car I gave him the thumbs up and he gave a huge grin. The light turned green and as we took off I saw him turn to his mom and tell her to slow down, and she did. I didn't take off fast so he can get a look at the whole car and also I didn't want his mom to get a bad reputation of the car. Needless to say it made my day to know that I'm driving a Honda S2000 and the next generations will still love this car.
if that had happened to me down in SoCal, tha van's driver would probably look over, scoff, and then try and "race" me.
haha...
but that's good. it's good that someone around that age can appreciate our car still even though it's aged quite a bit. it's best to start young, afterall.

HAHA, mines also plain 'ol black with only "H" emblems. It could also be that you're from Orlando, FL which typically has a larger quantity of nicer cars then Raleigh.
I get yells like "nice car" and thumbs up from kids all the time. Takes me back to years ago when I was that kid sitting on my Huffy yelling at those guys in the sweet Supra's and Preludes that would roll by. Takes me back and makes me appreciate what I have all the more.
