my first S was an 03, and i was very happy with it. the rear glass window to me is just so much better than the plastic. now, where you got your numbers on the skid pad, not sure about that. i dont think honda really changed anything in the suspension from 00-03. the 04's had the big suspension change. you may be confused with 03/04.

Seriously, I doubt that the performance is noticeably any different and would just come down to car setup (alignment, tires, etc) and the driver. I'd recommend the 03 if for nothing else the glass window. Plastic window and you're much more likely to spend money replacing the top at some point.
