Default S2K or 911

If you had your choice, which would you choose: Spend some serious $$$ to heavily mod your S2K or drive a 911. I'm not sure what's the best way to go...

Is it going to be a daily driver or a fun car?

Money aside, I'd have to go the 911 hands down.
But then again, I've never driven a 911 so maybe I would change my mind?

Don't bother with the 911, it is not enough bang for your buck. If you want a Porsche, get none other than the 996TT...I have driven it and believe me it is nothing short of a straight adrenaline injection. Honestly, though, I feel that the S2000 is more fun to drive period. If it is a fun car, get the S2000 and spend some money on forced induction and a few chassis upgrades and you will have the most fun car their is to drive right now!

they are very different cars tailored for very different tastes. I suggest you try out each and weigh in on your feelings after you drive or experience each one of them.

I'm a long time 911 owner of various years, models, etc. I am currently in the process of selling my 911 track car to fund an S2000 purchase. I think that says a lot. 911s are incredible cars, super fun to drive. Both are great cars, and more similar (I think) than most s2000 vs. X car comparisions on this site. They are both: very or relatively reliable for the kind of performance you get, respsonsible for putting SEG on people's faces when driven, and uncompromising in their pursuit of well engineered, well balanced performance.

Are we talking about a brand new porsche or an used one? If it is anything older than a 97, no.
