Hi new to this forum but I am about to buy a used s2k. It could be very stupid asking this question but what year is the best to get s2k. I heard from my bro only really is that s2k a good year to buy is that 2004 and up.

 

98' S2000s were the best year.

Although I own a MY05, I think I like the MY03 model the best.
But again, different people have different opinion...

 

But I understand that the 2009 will be the very best. It'll have "Drive By Wisenheimer" and "Vehicle Stability Ambiguity" and an upgraded VTEC (Visibly Taut Eclectic Camber) to eliminate all snap overstink. The piston bore will be extended to raise displacement to 2.6L and the output to 292 hp and 203 torque.

 

The Introductions threads usually fields these questions, but imo 02 or later are all good b/c they have glass rear windows and some mechanical kinks worked out. Like the man said though, any S you own is the best.

 

Check out some of the sticky threads or run a search. There were quite a lot of posts about differences between model years. Bottom line: they are all S2000s
