S2k Burnouts?
It's possible but you'll never know in advance unless you're doing it in water. Why do people care about doing burnouts in this car? It's a sports car. I wonder if the Porsche boards are full of people going "can I do a burnout in my boxster?". I bet they don't care. It's not what the car was designed for.
I admit that I, too, have a weakness for irresponsible behavior. Fortunately I've also had enough $$$ to pay for the things I've broken in the process. It's much cheaper to indulge yourself with video gameand rental car antics, but nothing beats the real thing in a RWD car (or motorcycle).
Anyhow, you won't destroy your clutch if you launch properly. The faster you do it, the less damage to the clutch. The faster you do it, the more damage you'll do to your drivetrain, though....And you'll also toast your rear brake pads and rotors (and of course the rear tires).
And contrary to popular opinion, smoking your tires and intentionally losing control of your car in a big, empty parking lot will teach you a hell of a lot about car control and could save your ass one day if your rear tire(s) ever come in contact with diesel fuel, black ice, anti freeze, skunk blood, roach coach liquids, peanut butter, etc.
