My wife and I recently went down to Virginia Beach to meet with other S2K owners from the area. My wife wanted to do a little shopping, so I took her to Marshals. After she had been in the store for a few minutes, one lady walked up behind her and said, "Are you the one who got out of that Ferrari outside?"

Anyone else have something like this happen? And if so, what was your reply?

Too many wonderfully positive comments/compliments received at stoplights, grocery stores, gas pumps, etc I've had a lot of people ask how much horsepower it has, some people asking if it has a V6 or V8, whether it is a Honda or a BMW, etc. Last night at the gas pump, had a guy ask what the little red button on dash was!

When my friend bought his silver/red, I thought to myself why'd he buy a 30k del Sol. 3 months later I got to see it and went for a cruise. After a while he let me drive and I got to vtec and I was done. Never had that happen but I've been absolutely floored by the amount of comments and compliments the car receives. Drive through a crowded street sometime and count how many times you overhear the word Honda.

I had a sweet young thing come up to me and ask, "Sir, is that the new del Sol?"
