Is the S2K considered a 'Supercar'?

it's just a fun roadster with great engine and awesome track capablities,
but certainly not a supercar.
i don't consider even nsx, supra tt or rx- 7 supercars.
just because they are heavily modified, go fast street rockets, that doesn't mean
they become supercars.
now, those are supercars, mm- hmm.

Is there any actual formal definition of what makes a car a "supercar"? Seems pretty subjective to me unless there are some hard numbers... like 0-100Kmph, 0-200Kmph, etc. performance specs.... or pricing...or SOMETHING.
