S2k Crash
It's not the most accepted thing, but one rainy night, you could go to a big empty parking lot and just get a feel for it when it does get sideways so you're more confident if it does again on you.

I have to admit, as amazing as the S2000 is, it's a completely different car. How would you guys suggest I learn to control the car to it's limits? Not that i'd drive it to it's limits but so i would know what to do when the time is right.

I got a call from my insurance company saying the car might be considered totaled. WTF? I'm going to hear from them again on Monday but even the body shop said it most likely isn't totaled. What should i do? KBB private party ranges from $20.1k-23.2???? Everything was in great condition. I had BC Racing Spec coilovers and a sound system too but i doubt that matters to them.

Anyone recommend a good shop in the bay or at least a place to get parts? I know i for sure need new control arms for every side and a right rear axle. I'm not going to trade any parts, the body shop said there was no frame damage so i'm keeping it and getting it fixed totaled or not.
I guarantee it is a write-off. These cars only book for around $8000 for insurance... minor body work is expensive enough... start pricing in suspension, frame alignment... it would be cheaper for them to buy you out and auction the car.
If you think you can fix it decently, let them total it, buy it back, and pay for repairs yourself. I bought back a CBR929, replaced as much as I could with eBay parts, went to the Honda store for the rest, and rebuilt an $8000 bike for about $4000.
The problem isn't with the damage... it's just so freaking expensive to 'officially' repair anything.
