Interesting.
I've seen multi-million dollar deals closed with far less analysis.
I tend to go on emotion and gut feelings when it comes to cars. Maybe that's why I've still working 80 hours a week at age 64!

This is awesome! I read every word of your analysis, statistics is so much more interesting when the underlying analysis is personally relevant.

In a way, with the use the above information you could potentially create a sort of S2000-specific "Black Book Value" calculator by inputting the key variables. Then insert all the caveat on "use this only for estimate purposes bla bla bla". It's too bad there is no available data on actual selling price vs. selling price.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed reading all of it.

I could absolutely use this information to make a calculator of sorts.

With or without data analysis, would you have ended up with the same car?

You know, this really reminds me of my econometric classes. I got all A's but now I am as lost as a sheep.

But good to know GPW was right haha.

Coming from a data analyst pov, this is great work. And I know it took a lot of time to put together. Thank you for this.
