S2k Depreciation
It could change a little if production stops. Everybody who has a desire to own one one day will reluctantly swallow the pill and rush to buy the remaining '08's(if 2008 is actually the final year). The 08's would immediatly start selling for actual retail or close to it and other years would benifit from this also in the same way.
Best chance for a rebound is that the S2000 goes into the history books as a car Honda use to make.

^ I have to agree that you overpaid. Not sure where you got your pricing info from then, but even here in DC, which is a higher priced area for the S, it was probably worth no more than $16K. I traded in my 00 for an 06 that year, so I checked out pricing.
i hope that the price doesn't go up when they stop making it. i plan on buying one in 2011 after i graduate pharmacy school and one of the resason why i want a s2k over a brand new bmw or something is cause it'll be cheaper and i can pay back loans easier.
so i hope it keeps going down!

S2000s are not in fashion anymore. It's underpowered, and hasn't gone through major revisions in the past 5 years, if you consider the AP1 to AP2 change as significant -- which on paper, it's not, because of the same HP rating.
People are much more interested in 350Zs in general now.
It's sad, but that's the truth ...

I say you maybe overpaid by $1k.. but the market dictates the price of this car more than others. If it was the lowest priced low mileage example, then you didn't overpay. That's the bottom line and it can't be argued.

I like my fuel economy. I also like sending it into the toilet when I so desire -- like this past weekend in SE Ohio.
