Default S2K - Exclusive no more!!

Well....A couple of years ago when I bought my S2k, they were hard to come by and very rarely seen on the streets. Now, much to my dismay, I feel like I'm driving a Civic! I see S2Ks EVERYWHERE!!! Trust me, I love my car, but I wish Honda would stop production. At least with some new competition on the road, 350Z, RX8, Z4, Crossfire, sales should slow down....but my friends, we are no longer driving a car that carries the smae mystic and mystery that it once used to!!

I still only see about 1 car a week on average. And that's in the summer! Nobody dares to come out in the winter months!

Of course, there aren't too many S2000s in Germany anyway.

I like to think I live in a pretty highly populated area, and even here since I got my S almost 3 weeks ago I've seen only 1 other on the road.

I still very rarely see S2000's in my area..... I would think about 1 every 2-3 weeks is all I see.

Well, let me tell you....on Saturday within a span of about 1/2 hour, I saw another red one, 2 yellow ones, and 2 silver ones....this morning on my way to work, I saw a blue one!

Maybe everyone who bought an S2K moved into my neck of the woods

You live in CA man...that's why you are seeing so many. Trust me the S2K still has a mystique about it if you live in the right area. I live in Central Texas and people from all over the state still ask me what kind of car it is and gawk at it. There are only about 6 in the area I live in which contains 250K people or so. That is compared to the countless Z cars I've already seen...those are going to be a dime a dozen in a few years.

It's because you live in Cali man, especially LA. Here in Dallas and Fort Worth, I only see 2 a week at the most. I see at least 6 Zs a week, sometimes more like 9 or 10. Keep in mind that Honda has only produced about 40,000 of the S so far, about 10,000 a year. I'm not sure if that's worldwide or just for the US, but either way it's less than the amount of Zs that Nissan has produced in only one year of production.

CA...pros and cons!
I guess I'll have to get Honda to make me an eS2klusive car.
What are the chances????
