hnic, if you wanted to drive a car that's different, that stood out, and always drew a stare, you should be driving a Daihatsu.

Or a Maibatsu Monstrosity!

It's so big... we lost little Johnny in the back and couldn't find him for an hour!

Aren't we later model owners glad that we did not have to pay over invoice or even invoice price when we bought.

mhollifi... I am still going to be paying $500 over invoice for my 2003 Suzuka Blue, but I don't really mind. I'm just glad that I'm not paying thousands more for one of them. That was one of the reasons that kept me away from buying one in the first place!

If it bothers people so much that other people have the same car as you do, maybe you should ask yourself why. Seriously, it's a car... and other people have every right to buy that same car if they want to! Plus, it shouldn't really bother you that those kids went to look at the 350Z instead of the S2000. After all, the Z is a very reputable name that Nissan is known for. Of course the newer model Z is going to attract a lot of attention! If you want to be noticed that badly, maybe you should buy the Z.

I havent seen an S in weeks and the weather is finally nice. No one seems to know what the car is. The lady at my insurance co never heard of it, the guy at the DMV asked what an S2000 was. I work in an office with about 5000 people, there isnt another in the building, or anywhere in the office park where I work which is maybe 15000+. I would love to see one, so I can wave hi.

Actually, I would REALLY love to hear an S2000 accelerate from the outside, I never have, and Im not willing to let anyone drive my car to have the experience.
