S2K headlights dangerous to other drivers at full beam???
The stook just looks so much nicer at night from the front when you have the headlamps at full beam. I don't do this ofcourse because I dont want to blind other drivers. The question I have however is that are our HIDs blinding to oncoming drivers at full beam? Or are they just bright and not blinding. In other words is it OK to drive with full beam at night and not worry about blinding oncoming traffic?
Fully agree with Phantom.........IOM you will always risk blinding oncoming drivers with stook on full beam. Suggest you borrow another (non s2k) car and let someone drive your stook towards you...then you can judge for yourself.

Low Beam - High Intensity Discharge Lighting (HID)
High Beam - Conventional Halogen Type H1 Bulb
While what really affects the blinding effect is actually the angle of the lighting. Doesn't matter if it's simply halogen bulbs or sophisticated HIDs. If you tune your HIDs to shine at a higher angle, it will have the blinding effect at a tremedous rate.
Since doing so brings the halogen bulbs up as well, that also defeats the purpose of halogen bulbs since the HIDs at a higher discharge angle is bright enough to sustain an incredible distance and super blinding effect. Other than which if you have not touched the stock discharge angle, there is really little or no blinding effect.

Not that it seems to matter to some folks, but driving with the high beams on when there's oncoming traffic is against the law. And in some places, driving with the high beams on in town or in residential areas is also illegal. (If I'm going to get a "points" moving violation, it's going to be for something good
