Default S2k just purchased for $4200

Hi guys my cousin just picked up a nice y2k s2k with 150k on it for $4200 has ssr wheels, exhaust and it is really clean minus a few scratches etc... runs great

Now I want to get one as well. I know this is beyond cheap I have seen them as low as 7-8k that is about it.

can I pick up something decent for 6-7k in this market you think. Just for a summer toy car not a daily driver etc... Wish I would have gotten a deal like his. He also picked up a nice 92 miata for $1200 runs like a champ.

No, you'll get a crap salvaged car and it's not worth it. Save up a little more.

Seriously, you can pick one up fairly easily for ~$8000.

Anything under that and you have to start thinking of the trade offs. If you're handy, doing some of the replacement work yourself could make it worthwhile. If you're not, you may be better off spending a little more up front.

In the time it took to start the post, you could have performed 4 searches on autotrader. Look instead of ask...they're out there.

Good Luck
