I disagree! The S2000 is serious fun on snow!

40 degrees Farenheit is the point at which winter tires become necessary and summer tires harden up as a rule of thumb. Also, people who are describing treacherous driving in the winter on the Bridgestones would have this problem even on an AWD car. These tires aren't made for the cold and snow, and leaving them on the car in the winter is taking a huge and unnecessary risk.

A couple days ago I saw an S-2000 driving in the snow....I really felt bad for the guy AND the car as it was covered with salt spray and grime. Oh well, ya do what ya gotta do!

This is the worst car I've ever driven in the snow.

...and don't make the mistake I made by thinking "it can't possibly be that bad"... It is a REAL nasty ride on the standard tires in the snow. Very, very, VERY difficult to control the car!

WARNING - If you've never done a professional skid course, don't even think about driving with your S2000 in the snow - /WARNING

WRONG! These are the worst tires you've ever driven in the snow. They should carry raised, flashing red and yellow lettering saying, "Do not use below 40 deg F or in snow!"

The car is absolutely wonderful in the snow when driven on competent snow tires. It is perhaps one of the best rear wheel drive cars ever for driving on the snow. The 50/50 balance, anti-lock brakes, small polar moment, and not too much low end torque all contribute to making a great winter sports car.
