Well gentlemen, it has been brief, but I have decided to hack the Honda for something a bit more practical. Although I have a beater to offset the rack of miles and to deal with winters, I grew tired of having two vehicles. Also I wanted something with four doors and more room for my dog (my truck has two doors and an extremely small rear cab). It has been fun, and I have enjoyed my time here on the forum. It has been a great experience to not only own and drive an s2000, but to be apart of this community which has been very helpful to me.

I'm sure again sometime soon, I will pick up another one and continue to drive the daylights out of it like I drove this one.

Thanks for everything guys, and take care!

Also, wondering what you got?

Each car is a different 'relationship'. It is sad to move on, in a way, as life is a straight line. You can't really go back. But, it's nice to have these experiences along the way.

I miss so much my first motorcycle when I was in College in Denmark when I was sixteen.

I've gone back there many times but never could recreate the feeling. Yes, sometimes the forest smells were the same tooling along the small roads or the cool breeze struck me the same for a fleeting moment.

You'll always remember your time with an S and good for you....it was fun right? Lucky us!

Oops.... I didn't know the other vehicle would be of such importance . I picked up a 2006 Audi A4 2.0t quattro basically brand new. I will snap some photos today if the light allows and post them up. Here is a stock photo of what it looks like exactly...

I REALLY REALLY wanted a red car, and kicked myself everytime I saw an NFR s2k. So far all I can say about this car is that it is the total package. It is a blast to drive (not s2k blast, but if I were expecting that from an a4 i would be eternally disappointed), it is absurdly comfortable, and has all the amenities one would need. I especially love the Sub behind the back seats . Also the quattro is a bonus, and has already been of benefit to me. Anyone who lives in the nothern Virginia area, and saw that brief torrential downpour can attest to that .

I couldn't agree with you more.... It truly is a different relationship as they appeal to different senses, however, the experience of the Honda is one that I can't forget, and hopefully as I said can/will experience again in the future.

As far as asking if it was fun? HELL YES! How could tooling around in a no frills spartan roadster with the top down not be?
