He's doesn't know a lot about cars. It's a nice car but $45K++? Well I should say he thinks he knows a lot about cars. You know the type. He goes more for image over performance. He'd think the Elise or S2000 is only worth half as much as a SLK b/c the SLK has AT and hardtop and various other gingerbread features.
He's the kind of person who puts down the S2000 like to say it's only got just a 4-cylinder. But he's never even driven one.
I told him if I ever got another vert it'd probably be the BS he's like "it doesn't have a hard-top"
he's never driven one. He says the SLK is just about as powerful as the BS, I said the BS weighs 200 lbs less but that doesn't mean anything to him.
Hey I'm glad the S2000 is still doing so well 5 years without much change.
