i am about to buy a 2way lsd but i want to knw w/c brand or type will make the less noise.but definitely i want the 2 way lsd..i am aware that aftrmarket lsd will make some sort of noise on cornering and low speeds..just want to get the one that will make the least noise...i hope u guys dont mind if i ask u this question...

I believe in the February issue of Grassroots Motorsports we do a on track test with Data between a Kaaz , OS Giken , and OEM dif in the T3 S2000. Might provide you with some data to help make your decision.

 

Did it focus on which one makes the least noise?

 

 

I think a straight cut dogbox would be quieter than a 2-way LSD. Plus it would handle all that mad power if he decides to do a 2JZ swap later on.

2-Way as in locks on accel and decel vs 1.5 way which locks on accel only.

Either the Carbonetic or the ATS carbon LSD will be the quietest.
I have heard good things about the quality of the OS Giken LSDs also, but have no personal experience with how much noise they make.

The Kazz is by far the loudest I have heard.

thanks for all the reply..i am going to the track this dec with a few buddies for the second time.. but tis time i wanna add some aftremarket lsd to my car..hopefully this will help me out to lower my time even though i havent driven any s2k or any car with 2way lsd yet..again thanks....
