Default s2k ultimate roadtrip

i read about a guy who drove his slk around the world. ewan mcgregor rode his bike around the world.

anyone ever think about taking the s2k for the ultimate road trip? i know it would be a logistical nightmare with boats, visas and rough roads, but i dream of having the resources to pull it off. some of north america, alaska, new zealand, australia, scotland, iceland, alps, hawaii...

An adventure would be climbing Everest...Driving an S2k around the world would just get annoying.

There was the fella here who did document his Lotus road trip around the US. that was a fun read.

I drove my S from LA, CA. to Pompano Beach, FL. last year. About 2800 miles each way just getting their. Kind of regret I didn't drive all the way to Key West, I know I'll need one more day to do that. Big mistake, should just go all the way.

A trip like that would seem like an endurance test more than an adventure in the S2000. You should start smaller and take a trip around the states. See how you like it. Then go for the multicountry trip. I did take a leaserly month riding my ZX11 around the states. I put 12,000 miles on the bike on that trip. It would be easier and cheaper (gas cards) in the S2000 than you think. Something peaceful about just you and your ride in the mountains at 1am, a thousand miles from home.
