I actually got to drive a friends TT and I have to tell you that I think it's a pretty "neat" car. I like the the way it looks and I did enjoy the drive. BUT...compared to the S2000, the experience is totally different. Your dad will have to decide on what he is looking for. They are totally two different cars. I actually had to find out myself because I couldn't see how two similiar cars(in theory) could differ so much. I am sure that after he test drives the cars he will know which one he wants.

If he is using this as a daily then what does he use for weekend excursions?

Aren't they coming out with the new engines for the TT? like 260 hp or the V6 in the s4 with 300hp? If they do, get the TT. The S will have a hell of a time chasing after it.

 

Oh, yeah, an advice for your dad from changing from the 528 to the s2000 as daily driving car - Expect to be raped!!! by the car I mean . I have owned both the 750 and the TypeR so I am speaking from experience. Good luck to your dad and tell him to go for a ride before deciding which car to be used as his everyday car..
