I'm sure you're out of the 36,000 mile/3 year warranty period if you're the 3rd owner and it's an 03. Even if you were still under warranty, it's only a possibility that it would be covered. Technically it's a drivetrain warranty, but Honda is generally pretty good with customer service. They can also say it was abuse, which auto manufacturers are known to do. But hey, we drive our cars hard.

It's bumper to bumper for 3-36 not just the drivetrain. Read your owners manual. The 06's are now 4-50 I think.

As long as you do not have aftermarket springs IMO.
If you can get it fixed under warranty

If you are under 3/36 then yes, it should be warranty unless it shows modification (lowering) or evidence of abuse.

thanks for the feedback guys. just returned from honda dealer. they were actually quite helpful and nice (for the first time). my 3 year warranty ended bout 5 days ago but my mileage hasnt hit the 36k mark yet so they went ahead and ordered the parts which should come in by next week. the honda guy said it will be covered by warranty
