S2K... wrecked
Just a tip:
Can't tell how bad the damage is in the rear, but if they replace ANY of the suspension components do your best to make them replace the entire subframe too.
Ensures everything is nice and square

Hard to tell for sure from the photos but that doesn't look bad at all. Sheet metal, plastic, some suspension components and wheels. Nothing structural. Looks easily fixable. If insurance "totals" the car with a decent cash offer, you can likely find the parts yourself and deal with a good body shop. Don't cry yet.
meh...the damage doesn't really look that bad.
Mine looked a lot worse. I didn't really care whether they totalled the car or not, honestly. I would just take my mods and move to another chassis like a hermit crab.
My car only has 35k on it and it's in showroom condition (before the accident), so they spent the $9500 to fix it. Weird thing was that there was absolutely positively no structural damage to the car whatso-ever.
I hit a tire wall at a track.
Oh well. I got a CR lip and AP2 headlights/bumper and AP2 rear bumper out of it.
Plus...I made about $250 after all is said and done. I'm a PIIIIIIMP.

So let me get this straight. Another vehicle clipped your rear bumper with enough force to send you into the wall and there is no paint from their car or tire mark from their tire or anything on your car to be used as evidence? Surely there was. Someone wasn't doing their job.

Sorry to hear. That ticket is BULLSHIT. The revenue-squad just saw an opportune time to make the State some money. Fight it. Get a lawyer if you have to because this will affect your insurance.
