I'm not too familiar with S2KCA, but as far as I know, Honda has absolutely no affiliation with S2ki. They have not sponsored events, etc... There was one dragon event that included lunch at a dealership, and even that was a disaster. Has anyone ever seen a Honda rep on here? I've never seen a Honda ad or anything of the like. Every year Honda of America is contacted about annual gatherings. A request is sent for a speaker, funding, or any sort of involvement. Guess what? They have NEVER responded.
"Sanctioned" my A$$! Show some support beyond an acknowledgement on some website no one will ever see... then I will thank them.

The hate died long ago on both sites. The old threads are just that old threads. Lets leave them that way. All of the information on what happen between the two has long sense been put to bed.
Remember, people run clubs, and as such, they change. Both S2ki.com and S2kca.com have changed over the years. As with any thing people do, there is disagreements. This is nothing differant.
All I can say is I have had a great time, where ever and when ever S2000 owners get together. Whatever helps that happen should be supported.

My main argument though is regarding Honda's so called "affiliation" with S2Ki. As far as I'm concerned, such "affiliation" is non-existent. What do you think?

Yeah, I don't get where the hate for S2KCA is coming from. It's a great club w/ a smaller, less active forum.
S2KI is a more complete forum, but not a club.
There's plenty of room for both to peacefully co-exist.
Honda has provided significant financial support and speakers at S2KDays - they've been pretty good to S2KCA.

^ Sometimes the relationship has to start small (like recognizing Honda's advertisement) hoping it might lead to further support/sponsorship of events or even this site.
I've been associated with several larger car clubs/forums that were heavily involved with the U.S. and European companies. These were amicable and beneficial to all concerned.
It couldn't hurt to have the owners of the two sites write a letter to Honda thanking them for the acknowledgment on their site.
I'll get off my soapbox now.
