I don't know who decided that "hating" was going on here. I choose not to have an affiliation with S2KCA. I'm sure my opinion is slightly influenced by past events, but I choose not to be a member or S2KCA mostly because I can't stand the site itself. I find it very aggravating to use so I stay away from it. No hate, just preference.

AHM has been good to S2KCA, but not to S2Ki... do you think it's because S2KCA has "Club of America" in the name? But seriously, like mentioned above, Honda sent speakers to S2KCA Days... why no love for S2Ki events?

Honda is way overdue in recognizing and supporting S2Ki. The site has been around almost as long as the car itself! Chances are that the S2000 will be out of production before Honda has a chance to have a supportive relationship with S2Ki. That is sad.

^ Sometimes the relationship has to start small (like recognizing Honda's advertisement) hoping it might lead to further support/sponsorship of events or even this site.

I've been associated with several larger car clubs/forums that were heavily involved with the U.S. and European companies. These were amicable and beneficial to all concerned.

It couldn't hurt to have the owners of the two sites write a letter to Honda thanking them for the acknowledgment on their site.

I'll get off my soapbox now.
If you do a search, you will see that this "blub" has been on Honda's owners link for about three years now. I know that some communications (letters) have exchanged on behalf of both S2ki.com and S2kca.

[QUOTE=S2krazy2,Oct 11 2008, 07:17 PM] My main argument though is regarding Honda's so called "affiliation" with S2Ki.

I guess since I'm on the other side of the country I don't really see that stuff. That's great that Honda supported that event.

I should be more specific. I know that Honda has never even responded to requests for participation in annual events such as WTD and DBR. We're hoping that with the 10 year anniversary coming up, Honda will step it up and send someone out to represent. That would be awesome.

Keep that point in mind. Some of us ARE familiar with S2KCA and very much appreciate that site.

Can you take the truth? ...................
S2Ki is PURE "for profit". Every cent it gets goes to those who own the site as PERSONAL INCOME.
Here we go... another one of "those" threads. You just took this in a whole different direction.
