Well my argument for a runoff for the top 2 (F versus B) is this...

Since A & F are somewhat similar designs, many are going for either or. B is vastly different. In a runoff voters who selected A will probably select F instead making the race much tighter and the result may be different.

As a side note, you're right, I'm a cry baby and want a runoff because F isn't winning. B is too busy and amatuer-ish, no offense to its creator.

How do you figure that those who chose B the first time would change their minds and vote for F in a second vote? You had the chance to vote for your favorite. If you picked A or C or X then you did. What you are saying is that if all but B and F were eliminated those who chose something else would pick their second favorite, either B or F. I agree. If there were fewer choices then the votes for B and F would be different. To say that if you voted for B the first time but a second time would vote for F instead means you screwed up the first time and wasted your vote. You had an opportunity to vote for any one of the entries at any time and I have to assume you voted for the one you liked the best when you cast your vote.

But it is what it is. There were a large number of good quality entries and to be fair to those who made the effort to submit an entry worthy of consideration I included them all for your review. They all had an equal chance of obtaining the largest number of votes. The vote is fair and will be statistically correct when the polls close at 6PM PDT on Tuesday. The entry with the largest number of votes will win and the others will go home crying for their mamas

Only one of my top 4 favorites isn't in the top 4 as we speak. Having my second favorite win over my favorite means nothing more to me than "close enough". I'd be happy with any of my top 4 picks. I voted my one vote like everyone else and it wasn't for B. You don't see me whining about it (yet)

Having more than 2 names on a ballot and that aren't deceased to complicated for Fla?

Don't forget that some people may have voted for B because of the 8k redline. I think the 2.2L instrument panel is more pleasing, irrespective of the redline represented.
