I didn't want to chime in before, but the design I made will have the right side randomly rotate every time you change pages. It's simple to code and fairly easy to design. Unless things change between design and production expect to see many different cars featured in the header.
very good idea...

Don't forget that some people may have voted for B because of the 8k redline. I think the 2.2L instrument panel is more pleasing, irrespective of the redline represented.
You could have the best of both worlds by using the MY04 dash from non-US cars, 9k redline with the same layout....

Ya, it's pretty complicated. There's actually a branch of mathematics that covers voting theory.

For example, in a set of two way runoffs, it's possible that B would defeat A, F would defeat B, and A would defeat F. That's why runoffs - and more generally, preference voting - don't actually improve things that much.

There's a voting method called approval voting that works well for this situation. It permits everyone to vote for all of the choices they "approve" of - as many as they want - and the choice with the largest number of votes - the "approval" of the largest number of voters - wins. That would probably require an inordinate amount of coding (though it would be a nice choice for people to have for other polls).

I'm one of the people who thinks that A and F are similar enough that they're defeating each other, but I think I'd be happy with B, too. (Wouldn't mind seeing the car from A on the right side of B at times.)

Problem with this method is that your creating a situation in which instead of finding the one that people actually like you tend to find the one that's just good enough for everyone. Which has an appeal in itself. Your sort of trying to find something that appeases all of the people rather than the one that is liked the most. Rank order allocates those that voted for lossers to move there vote to the winner.
