s2ki site redesign contest
There is another thing to consider how this pans out....
The winner must meet the technical specifications I laid out when we started the submission phase. That is it must be a layered Photoshop PSD file that I can work with. None of the entries meets the exact specs for design as they are prototypes. The eventual winner needs to supply the final graphics in a layered Photoshop file so I can make it work technically and also they need to make any required design changes to accomodate this. B is not a Photoshop file right now. He has sent me drafts of the layered PSD file which look to be coming along but I will need a final revision very soon after the poll closes so I can get going on implementation.
If the winner can't provide this then they may be eliminated. Having seen the drafts I'm confident B will meet these requirements but there is still an outside chance this won't happen.
B hits the nail on the head as far as the functional components and the design concept (that of a dashboard). Once I have the final PSD file I'm thinking of asking again for enhancements to the design to pump up the graphics a bit. The prototype is a bit 2 dimensional for my taste and I'd like to see the graphic elements pumped up a bit; add some wow factor.
I doubt I'll ask for another vote on variations though. I'll exercise my executive privelege for choosing the final final artwork

Yeah it could. When the poll was reset I changed my vote.
Anyway, so far now b is leadin with 34.38% of the votes.
That is 65.62% of the voters not approving. Even bush's numbers are not that bad. Hehe
By having it reduce down to runoffs gives a chance that at least the majority approves.
Its bananas!
B a n a n a s!

It could but it didn't. Statistically speaking run offs wouldn't make a difference in the winner. Besides Cthree set the rules before the poll started. With that many canadates everyone knew the winner would probably have well less than 50% of the votes. We can be ~90% sure that B would win if it ran against F alone.

. it already happened once when F was leading.
