S2Ks owned by women?
Your right, black or any dark color is hard to prevent from seeing dust. Thats why I tried to get White as my first chioce in colors. Buttttt, they dont have white available in Canada
Soooooo, I decided to go for the sexiest color out there...BLACK! Who cares if its 'dirty' black,,,it all depends on the kind of girl your trying to attract...LOL....I like'm "dirty" sometimes *wink wink*.....LOLOLOL.....ok ok....im just kidding.....just my two cents

I agree with smccurry - don't SETTLE on a color. This is a car to cherish, and in 6 months you'll be thinking "why didn't I get <your color of choice> instead of black?" I went 120 miles away to get my color choice (S/R) instead of the black/black the local dealer had. You should be able to find one somewhere in the vicinity.
I thought girls didn't obsess about the cleanliness or tidyness of their cars like men do, so black's not a problem
It's cool that so many ladies appreciate the car too! My GF won't drive mine (yet) because at 5'3" she feels she can't see out of it sufficiently

About the color, I know 3 people in law enforcement and 2 are Ohio State Troopers. They see a RED car and smile and then say 'Arrest me RED', that color is first to get their attention. I own a black Honda Accord, I keep it well waxed and it looks like new. Many people are surprised when I tell them it is a 93. Wax seels the paint and makes it easy to dust off and keep clean. I also own a 01 S2K, it's a Silver car with a Black interior. With the silver car, I am finding it is harder to touch-up paint chips, the black Accord is easier. My first car was a white 65 GTO with 3 2-brl. carbs. I have found white to be the easiest color to care for and touch-up. I owned that car fo 20 years.
As for a daily driver, keep the revs between 2500 to 4000 and the car is very quite for a rag top and will get good gas milage. Otherwise keep the revs closer 4500-5000 and your ready for a 5.0 liter Mustang or Z28. The suspension is very good too. You'll never feel as though you are crashing into the bumps(like my friend's Miata or an old 240Z) but like all roadsters, you are aware of all road imperfections.
Dawn, when you get your new S2K, follow the owner's manual instructions about breaking-in the S2K. And check your oil at least once a week, high RPM driving consumes oil very fast!

Lets compare.....LOL..JK!
Here's another yellow s2k chick owner
My names on the title but I share it (and all $$$ associated with ownership) with my teamates Jason Saini & soloiiracer (Brad). So I not only have a s2k, but AutoX the snot out of her too!
Banannie owns a Yellow one and AutoX's too. I'm hoping to see Annie out in Wendover UT for the ProSolo in July. Hopefully we can get some pix of the two of us racing topless
I agree with all the talk about black being a love /hate relationship. My Audi TT is black and I love the color but am constantly washing it. Nothing beats a black car when clean tho...
Have fun with your new s2k!
