Two things that are key to really make convertibles easy to tolerate: built in seat fans to keep backs from sweating, and seat heaters to extend top-down season well into the fall.

 

I dunno, I always thought the 02 knob was pansy again. I'm proud to have my shift numbers permanently burnt into my palm after a 105 degree day here in No cal.

 

I thought the same thing. Did they run out of money on development and just pick the only 6-speed knob they had out of the bin!?!

Ugh... Parts sharing with the S2000 is a no no...

This is an incredibly common attitude around here, and it's an incredibly narrow-minded one too. The S2000 was an R&D car, don't be surprised to see other "part bin" parts from the S2000 floating around other cars. It's a cost savings for Honda, and they can thus pass along other improvements to the car buyers at a lower cost. If taken to the extreme, yes it's bad (attn: GM), but it's a shift knob for cryin out loud!

 

Me too! Besides the original looks a lot better (IMHO).
