As simple as this may seem, this shows how the R&D for the S2000 can make other Honda cars better! Also, it helps to distribute the the cost of developing other specialized features per car model across the entire Honda/Acura line.

The insight and the S2000 so share the same stearing wheel center and aribag setup This is done well to save costs and more then likely. But we do get a different covering on the wheel then the S. I know I have both cars.

 

...and the inside door-handles and lock levers on the S2000 appear to be from the Civic, somewhere between 1993 and 2000.

(and this is a big deal why ?)
