That really sucks. No comprehensive coverage on it either?

I don't know why people get liability on any car worth more than 5,000.

I have received close to 40K in insurance in the past 5 years due to theft and vandalism (I'm not joking here). Just think if I didn't have full coverage - I'd have been SCREWED over and over and over again. Two hit and runs, two vandalisms, one total theft... shit is crazy out there.

Full coverage is worth it - you never know when something out there is going to screw up your car (person, animal, act of science, etc.).

Yeah, I noticed you had no problems "manning up" about it. I was referring to others in this thread.

Liability is legally required. That's what covers you for damage you do to others.

Edit: Oh, I guess you meant you don't know why they get liability-only, not why they get liability at all.

^ yea, I was planning on storing it thats why I stepped down on insurance a notch. Then this happened, of course right? Its like having your cell phone all the time and never needing it then one day you forget your cell phone at home and your car dies in the HWY.

The car needs an alignment and the side repaired other then that it seems to run fine.

Also thankful that it didn't come through the windshield. O_o
